Sunset over the Sea of Marmar metal print by Rafay Zafer. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is my first impasto painting I did. I incorporated my usual rich sunset sky, with a silhouette, but this time I decided to add some details to it. The skyline was done using a palette knife to create an illusion of definition of the buildings, but also the darkness that is seen in a silhouette when looking towards the sun.
About Rafay Zafer
Rafay Zafer is a self-taught artist. He started early on in his life with drawing and slowly moved his way up to oil paints. He still does work with variaous mediums including but not limited to oil, acrylic, graphite, ink, and watercolors. He is most inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's work, and the city of Istanbul in Turkey.
